About Isle of Palms, SC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Isle of Palms is a small charming city located in South Carolina. The city sits on an island along the shores of South Carolina. Isle of Palms is located about 18 miles from downtown Charleston and is located in Charleston County. The city is one of the smallest cities therein. According to the United States Census Bureau, approximately 4,395 people were living in Isle of Palms in 2016.

Original inhabitants of the island Isle of Palms sits upon were SeeWee Indians. The inhabitants used the island for hunting and fishing. After the English arrived and the Indians left in the 1880s, not many individuals made use of the island. However, in 1897 a man known as Dr. J.S. Lawrence constructed a public amusement and beach resort on the island. It was after the development of the island that it became known as Isle of Palms. Over the years many more individuals purchased land on the island and constructed hotels, homes, and more. Today, Isle of Palms is one of the most popular destination spots in the Charleston area. Beautiful beaches, parks, restaurants, and shops occupy the island and provide residents and visitors excellent shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities.

Isle of Palms is located in a climate that experiences very warm summers, mild winters, and large amounts of precipitation. It is necessary for residents of the island to have heating and cooling systems installed in their homes. During the winter months, daytime temperatures range from the upper-50s to low-60s and will dip to the 40s at night. Throughout the summer seasons, temperatures will climb to the mid-90s. Also, precipitation during the summer months is very common. The month of June receives almost 5 inches of rain per year on average. Systems like central air conditioning units and furnaces help Isle of Palms residents stay comfortable inside their homes throughout the changing seasons.
